For years, I observed ordinary people making numerous uneducated and poor oral health decisions. It was unsettling because they only needed some solid, basic dental education to make better and more informed choices.
I decided to do something to help people become better educated about their oral health decisions by giving them a tool I developed that was informative, but easy to use and understand. This was the genesis of miniDentist. 🦷
miniDentist’s original goal was to increase oral health literacy. After creating a basic algorithm to test this, I was able to view and evaluate people’s facial and vocal reactions when the simple-to-use software program enlightened them on the probable treatment they would need, and the logical explanation behind it to resolve their dental concern. This algorithm is still being evaluated and perfected to provide the best possible experience for our patients.
A great byproduct of educating people with dental software was the positive effects it provided for my practice. With the introduction of miniDentist, my practice evolved to be more efficient and financially stable. Since starting miniDentist, my collections increased by over 50%, and my team is more efficient and enjoying their work.
